Program Structure and What to Expect

The Intentional AI Strategy Blueprint has five distinct phases over 16 weeks. This framework ensures we develop the right AI strategy customized to your unique business goals and needs.

Phase 1: Mobilize (1 Week)

During this initial phase, we’ll establish a solid foundation for our work together. You’ll complete an intake assessment that helps me understand your business, current operations, and current tech use. We’ll review expectations, set some initial goals, and gather essential data to start our AI strategy development. This prep work ensures we hit the ground running with a clear understanding of where you are and where you want to go so you get the most out of our sessions and work together.

Phase 2: Accelerated Discovery (1 Week)

In this phase, we’ll conduct an assessment of your current business operations. We’ll get clear on and refine elements of your Business Model using a tool called the Business Model Canvas, evaluate how your personal and business values align with potential AI initiatives, and create an overview of your existing tech stack and systems. This accelerated discovery process gives us the context we need to identify the most promising opportunities for AI integration so we can focus on developing the strategy that will add the most value to you and your business

Phase 3: Define (1 Week + 1 Integration Week + 1 Week)

Now we’ll identify specific opportunities and gaps for AI implementation within your established business model. We’ll evaluate your data infrastructure, how your data is organized, begin prepping your business data for AI training, develop an ethics framework, and analyze how competitors are using AI to identify key opportunities to use AI in your business model. This definition phase ensures that your AI strategy addresses your unique needs so we can position you more effectively against competitors, and ultimately create more efficiencies and profits within your business.

Phase 4: AI Strategy Development (2 Weeks + 1 Integration Week + 3 Weeks + 1 Integration Week))

The heart of our work together, this phase is where we develop your comprehensive AI strategy. We’ll build your AI literacy, analyze which functions belong in your “zone of genius” versus areas that can be AI-supported, create budget plans, assess technology threats & opportunities, develop ROI measurement frameworks, identify & plan out your biggest AI initiatives, plan for risk mitigation, draft your AI tech stack, plan for integration with existing systems, consider AI ethics, and envision how AI will transform your business across different time horizons 1, 3, 5, and 10 years into the future. Phase 5: Implementation & Execution Support (2 Weeks + 1 Integration Week + 1 Weeks)

In our final phase, we’ll prepare you for successful implementation. I’ll provide focused guidance on integrating AI tools into your existing operations. Together we’ll develop strategies for stakeholder adoption, creating contractor selection criteria for working with outside AI firms/agencies, plan implementation timelines with clear milestones, and establish performance measurement systems for ongoing evaluation. You’ll leave with everything you need to execute your AI strategy with confidence so that you can ultimately free up your time, create a more competitive business, better scale & grow profits, and be well-positioned for the AI-driven future.

My Unique Approach to AI Strategy Development

Most AI consultants get it backwards. They start with the “coolest technology” and try to force it into your business. They throw around technical terms and make you feel like you need a computer science degree to understand what they’re talking about.

I do the opposite. We start with what you’re actually trying to accomplish in your business. What’s eating up your time? What’s frustrating your customers? What would make your life easier? What’s going to position you best for the future? What’s going to increase your bottom line and help you compete better in the marketplace? Then we figure out how AI can help with those specific things and more.

Every business is different and has a different mission and values, but the problems are often similar.
